Hungarian Chocolate Cake (Csokoládétorta)

Hungarian Chocolate Cake, known as Csokoládétorta, is a rich and elegant Hungarian dessert made with tender chocolate cake layers, silky chocolate buttercream, and a glossy chocolate topping. It is the kind of cake that looks impressive on a celebration table but can be made at home with simple ingredients.

This classic-style Hungarian chocolate cake is deeply chocolatey without being overly complicated. The combination of soft sponge, creamy chocolate filling, and smooth ganache makes every bite rich, tender, and indulgent.
