Hungarian Lángos is one of Hungary’s most beloved street foods: a golden, deep-fried flatbread that’s crispy on the outside, soft and airy inside, and traditionally topped with garlic, sour cream, and grated cheese.

Popular at markets, festivals, beaches, and food stalls throughout Hungary, lángos is best served hot and fresh. Once you try the combination of crispy dough, creamy sour cream, garlic, and melted cheese, it’s easy to understand why this simple Hungarian specialty is so popular.
