What Is Hungarian Palacsinta?
Palacsinta is Hungary’s answer to the classic European crêpe. The batter is thin and smooth, producing pancakes that are soft, flexible, and easy to roll.
Unlike thick American-style pancakes, traditional palacsinta is very thin and is usually filled before being folded or rolled.
Popular fillings include apricot jam, plum jam, ground walnuts, sweetened cottage cheese, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate.
