Hungarian Walnut Roll, known as Diós Bejgli, is one of Hungary’s most iconic holiday pastries. This traditional sweet bread features a soft, buttery yeast dough wrapped around a rich walnut filling flavored with cinnamon, vanilla, and lemon zest. Sliced into beautiful spirals, Bejgli is a Christmas favorite, but it’s equally delicious for family gatherings, afternoon coffee, or festive celebrations throughout the year.
