Hungarian Peach Cookies (Barack Süti)

These beautiful Hungarian Peach Cookies, known as Barack Süti, are a traditional Hungarian treat made from tender, buttery cookie shells filled with a sweet creamy mixture. The cookies are shaped like little peaches, brushed with colorful fruit syrup, rolled in sugar, and finished with a small mint or leaf decoration.

They look like fresh peaches but are completely made from cookies—making them especially popular for holidays, weddings, celebrations, and Hungarian family gatherings.
